Overall Efficiency Improvement of a Dual Active Bridge Converter Based on Triple Phase-Shift Control

چکیده

This paper proposes a control scheme based on an optimal triple phase-shift (TPS) for dual active bridge (DAB) DC–DC converters to achieve maximum efficiency. is performed by analyzing, quantifying, and minimizing the total power losses, including high-frequency transformer (HFT) primary secondary modules of DAB converter. To analyze converter, three operating zones were defined according low, medium, rated power. obtain TPS variables, two optimization techniques utilized. In local (LO), offline particle swarm (PSO) method was used, resulting in numerical optimums. used low medium regions. The Lagrange multiplier (LM) global (GO), closed-form expressions Detailed analyses experimental results are given verify effectiveness proposed method. Additionally, obtained compared with traditional single (SPS) method, optimized (DPS) RMS current minimization better highlight performance approach.
